WHEN PARTICIPATING IN A LIMOSALIMOSA RETREAT

In Brief

Liability Waiver

By registering for a LimosaLimosa retreat, you agree to our Booking and Cancellation Policies & House Rules. Attending a retreat is entirely at your own risk. By signing up, you confirm that you are sufficiently healthy to participate in a retreat. Furthermore, you accept full responsibility for your own mental and physical well-being and health, even in the case of physical complaints, injuries, or accidents. If in doubt, we advise you to consult your treating physician, therapist, and/or midwife before participating.

Cancellation Policy

When you register for a LimosaLimosa retreat, you agree to the cancellation terms outlined below. We strongly recommend participants take out cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Terms and Conditions:

1.By signing the LimosaLimosa registration form and/or paying the registration fee, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions.

2.A registration is only confirmed once the full registration fee has been paid.

3.Payment must be made within 14 days of receiving the invoice for the retreat or training. For bookings made less than eight weeks before the start date, payment must be made immediately. If payment is not received on time, LimosaLimosa reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

4.Participation in the programme is entirely voluntary. You are free at any time to refrain from participating in the full programme or only attend parts of it.

5.Refraining from participating in the programme does not entitle you to a refund of the registration fee or an alternative session or activity.

6.If participants cannot attend the booked retreat or training due to illness or personal circumstances, the booking can be transferred to another date free of charge, provided the booked retreat or training is offered on another date and space is available.

7.If participants decide to cancel (due to illness or personal circumstances) and the booking cannot be transferred to another date, they are entitled to a partial refund of the participation costs as follows:

Two months before the start date: 50% refund of participation costs.

One month before the start date: 25% refund of participation costs.

Two weeks before the start date: 10% refund of participation costs.

Within two weeks before the start date: No refund of participation costs.

Cancellation of a previously rescheduled retreat: No refund of participation costs.

8.If the participant is unable to attend the booked retreat or training, substitution is allowed, provided the details of the replacement participant are provided to LimosaLimosa at least one day in advance.

9.We strongly recommend participants take out cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

10.LimosaLimosa reserves the right to cancel a retreat or training if there are valid reasons, including insufficient participants, instructor illness, or force majeure. In the event of cancellation by LimosaLimosa, the participant is entitled to a refund of the registration fee already paid. The participant is not entitled to any other compensation or damages.

11.LimosaLimosa reserves the right to exclude individuals from participating in a retreat or training without giving a reason.

12.Participation in a retreat or training is entirely at your own risk. LimosaLimosa is not liable for injuries and/or damages of any kind resulting from the participant’s stay and/or activities, nor for loss or damage to property.

13.LimosaLimosa is located in a natural area. LimosaLimosa cannot be held responsible for external noises, such as planes, agricultural machinery, farm events, car rallies, hiking groups, and the like. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee external silence, but inner silence can still be achieved.

14.Ticks and oak processionary caterpillars may be present in the nature surrounding LimosaLimosa. Participants are responsible for taking appropriate precautions against tick bites or bites from other insects. For example, wear long sleeves, tuck trousers into socks, and use preventative measures. Most participants do not experience issues with the aforementioned insects.

15.Complaints must be submitted to LimosaLimosa in writing and with justification. The complainant will receive a response within 14 days.

Medical Disclaimers

1.The retreats offered by LimosaLimosa are not intended to replace medically necessary treatments or therapy.

2.LimosaLimosa is not a psychiatric facility. LimosaLimosa retreats are therefore not suitable for individuals with psychiatric problems.

3.Please provide us with relevant information about your physical and mental/psychological health before attending a retreat.

4.Where possible, we can adapt the programme or provide tailored exercises. For example, there is a bedroom specifically designed for wheelchair users.

5.Do not force anything and take physical and mental complaints seriously.

6.LimosaLimosa is not responsible, nor liable, for decisions or changes in the lives of participants.

7.LimosaLimosa team members/facilitators have only a duty of effort, and their obligations will be fulfilled to the best of their ability and professional standards of care at the time.

LimosaLimosa House Rules

We ask all participants in our retreats to respect the following house rules:

1.LimosaLimosa is smoke-free. However, there is a designated smoking area in the car park.

2.Alcohol and drug use, including psychedelics in any form, is explicitly prohibited during the retreat.

3.You are welcome as you are. Respect and space for every individual, regardless of religion, beliefs, sexual orientation, gender, nationality, or personal development, are fundamental to LimosaLimosa’s DNA.

4.You are a guest at our retreat centre. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for you and other participants. Any damage caused to the location will be charged to the responsible party.

5.The owners of LimosaLimosa live on-site, where a private swimming pool and hot tub are located. Participants may use these facilities during warm weather, strictly at their own risk. These are private facilities and not part of LimosaLimosa’s business operations.

6.The food provided during our retreats may contain allergens (in accordance with European Regulation 1169/2011). Please inform us of any allergies in advance. We do our best to accommodate, but cannot take full responsibility. Always ask our staff for additional information on-site.

7.Taking photos, videos, or audio recordings is only allowed at the end of the retreat or training for a maximum of 10 minutes. It is not permitted to take photos/videos of other participants unless explicit permission has been given.

8.Participants who do not adhere to the house rules or fail to follow instructions from the LimosaLimosa team may be removed from the retreat or training. This does not entitle the participant to a refund of course fees.

9.Accommodation may only be occupied by the maximum number of persons stated in the reservation, with one person per bedroom.

10.The use of barbecues is prohibited due to fire risk (thatched roof), as is the use of candles in bedrooms. Fires are only allowed in designated areas, such as the fire pit, fireplaces, and stoves.

11.LimosaLimosa living spaces are “shoe-free.” Slippers or similar footwear are welcome.

12.Pets are not allowed at LimosaLimosa.

13.Parking is only permitted in the designated parking area. Parking along the (sand) road is not allowed.

14.Violation of the terms and conditions, LimosaLimosa house rules, or failure to follow staff instructions may result in immediate removal from the accommodation or retreat. No refund of fees or any form of compensation will be provided.
